Sunday brunch is one of my favs…but what to wear?… this is no time for jogging pants and a t-shirt! My favorite brunch spot in Chicago is The Gage, they have an incredible menu (the french toast is to die for!) Brunch is an event, a time to stop and sniff the roses and enjoy a mimosa, or two. With warm weather and plenty of sunshine, it’s time for playful skirts, bright tops and summer shoes. I adore vintage fashion so this fresh tailored pencil skirt was a must. Paired with a classic sleeveless blouse and these stunning Jeffrey Campbell shoes and your sure to turn heads! Now that your all dolled up and have a full stomach, it’s time to head to Bucktown for a little retail therapy.

I hate carrying around my handbag and all the shopping bags so I usually opt for a large bag for such adventures (besides you might need to bring an extra set of ballet flats just in case your doing some walking.) The Dindia Tote is my go-to bag, it’s roomy, chic and I love the removable cross-body strap so my hands are free to browse!

So here’s a little inspiration for your next Sunday adventure:
